AEGIS² integrates and aggregates Safety data and information from systems like OPSS and ATOS to build a composite picture of aviation safety. This perspective provides a complete picture of the state of safety at any given time, along with the supporting details to take definitive action if needed. AEGIS² brings together information in a command and control format to support quick decision making, while providing access to the source data for in-depth analysis all within a consistent and unified framework. The span of AEGIS² covers the range of FAA’s information from findings of single inspector’s inspection, to changes in carrier operating characteristics.

AEGIS² looks at not only the data that is being collected, but how that data is collected and how the collected data relates across multiple air carriers.
